Agreement
These Terms of Use apply when you access 24piano.com or download, purchase, install, subscribe to, or use a 24Piano application. If you do not agree, do not use the website or app. If a child uses 24Piano, a parent or guardian should review these terms and supervise use as appropriate.
Personal-use licence
Subject to these terms and the rules of the store where the app was obtained, 24Piano Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal or educational practice on supported devices connected to the applicable store account. The app is licensed, not sold.
Plans and store pricing
Windows remains a separate Microsoft Store product under its current purchase model. Where mobile V2 is offered through Google Play or Apple's App Store, available choices may include Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime Premium. The applicable store and in-app purchase screen display current plans, billing periods, prices, currency, tax, trial eligibility, and regional availability.
Website descriptions are general information. The store screen presented at the time of a transaction controls the plan, price, billing period, and eligibility offered to that customer.
Free trials and automatic renewal
Eligible Monthly or Yearly customers may receive the first three days free. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play or Apple and is not guaranteed. Unless cancelled before the applicable renewal time, an eligible trial automatically converts to the selected paid Monthly or Yearly subscription.
Monthly subscriptions continue with automatic monthly renewal, and Yearly subscriptions continue with automatic yearly renewal, until cancelled. Store notices and local law may affect the exact renewal and notice timing.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions must be managed or cancelled through the Google Play or Apple store account used to start the subscription. Deleting 24Piano or clearing app data does not itself cancel a subscription. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, subject to the applicable store rules and local law.
Lifetime purchases
Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable Premium purchase for the applicable mobile store and platform. It has no recurring payment and no free trial. Lifetime does not automatically include another platform, another store, a separate future product, or every major new edition.
Restoring purchases
An eligible purchase may be restored through the same store account used for the original purchase. Restoration depends on the store's account records, product availability, device compatibility, and the entitlement associated with that account.
Separate platforms and entitlements
Microsoft Store, Google Play, and Apple App Store licences, subscriptions, and purchases are separate. An Android purchase does not automatically unlock Apple or Windows. An Apple purchase does not automatically unlock Android or Windows. 24Piano does not currently provide a cross-platform customer account that combines entitlements.
Existing Android purchases
The migration or grandfathering policy for existing paid Android V1 customers has not yet been finalized. These terms do not promise automatic Lifetime access, free migration, or another entitlement. Any final transition arrangement will be described separately when it is ready.
Refunds and consumer rights
Refund requests are handled under the policies and procedures of the store where the transaction occurred. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable refund, cancellation, or consumer-protection rights that apply under local law.
Regional and store differences
Prices, taxes, billing dates, trial eligibility, payment methods, plan availability, download availability, and store features may vary by country, region, account, device, or store. Family Sharing or a similar store feature is available only when it is explicitly supported and enabled; 24Piano does not promise it by default.
Device and MIDI compatibility
Compatibility depends on the device, operating-system version, permissions, MIDI hardware, adapters, Bluetooth implementation, and store requirements. Touch input is available where supported. USB or Bluetooth MIDI compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every device or accessory. Review the current store listing and MIDI setup guide before obtaining 24Piano for a specific setup.
Updates, availability, and support
Supported updates may include bug fixes, compatibility changes, improvements, and practice content. Features, device support, plan availability, and store availability may change as operating systems and store requirements evolve. A purchase or subscription does not guarantee every future product, platform version, or major new edition.
Acceptable use
You may not copy, resell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, bypass technical protections in, or use 24Piano unlawfully, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by agreement. You may not misuse the website, contact form, support channels, purchase system, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
Intellectual property
24Piano, its software, artwork, branding, interface, written content, and original practice materials are owned by 24Piano Studio or used under permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party services
App stores, operating systems, payment services, device manufacturers, and MIDI accessories are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. 24Piano Studio is not responsible for changes, outages, eligibility decisions, billing decisions, or other actions taken by those third parties.
Educational purpose and warranties
24Piano is a practice aid and does not replace a teacher, method, instrument, or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, the website and app are provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every setup.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, 24Piano Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of, or inability to use, 24Piano. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not exclude rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the product, plans, store requirements, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting mandatory consumer rights available in your place of residence.
